Uses the delta-method to estimate the Potential Impact Fraction (PIF) and the Population Attributable Fraction (PAF) from summary data. It creates point-estimates, confidence intervals, and estimates of the variance. Provides an extension to the aggregated data method in Chan, Zepeda-Tello et al (2025) doi:10.1002/sim.70214.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-deltapif

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
