Provides a practical tool for estimating the burden of common communicable diseases in settlements of displaced populations. An online version of the tool can be found at http://who-refugee-bod.ecdf.ed.ac.uk/shiny/app/. Estimates of burden of disease aim to synthesize data about cause-specific morbidity and mortality through a systematic approach that enables evidence-based decisions and comparisons across settings. The focus of this tool is on four acute communicable diseases and syndromes, including Acute respiratory infections, Acute diarrheal diseases, Acute jaundice syndrome and Acute febrile illnesses.

Install

install.packages("bestSDP", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-bestSDP

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
