A collection of Japanese text processing tools for filling Japanese iteration marks, Japanese character type conversions, segmentation by phrase, and text normalization which is based on rules for the 'Sudachi' morphological analyzer and the 'NEologd' (Neologism dictionary for 'MeCab'). These features are specific to Japanese and are not implemented in 'ICU' (International Components for Unicode).

Modified some examples and tests to address addtional issues on CRAN.
Japanese locale-dependent examples are no longer run on CRAN.
Simplified phrase-based wrapping locale.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
