Routines for re-scaling isotope maps using known-origin tissue isotope data, assigning origin of unknown samples, and summarizing and assessing assignment results. Methods are adapted from Wunder (2010, in ISBN:9789048133536) and Vander Zanden, H. B. et al. (2014) doi:10.1111/2041-210X.12229 as described in Ma, C. et al. (2020) doi:10.1111/2041-210X.13426.

Install

install.packages("assignR", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

# enable cranapt (r2u) if it is not already set up, then install

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-assignR

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
