Covers several areas of data processing: batch-splitting, reading and writing of large data files, data tiling, one-hot encoding and decoding of data tiles, stratified proportional (random or probabilistic) data sampling, data normalization and thresholding, substring location and commonalities inside strings, and location and tabulation of amino acids, modifications or associated monoisotopic masses inside modified peptides. The extractor implements code from 'Matrix.utils', Varrichio C (2020), https://cran.r-project.org/package=Matrix.utils.

Install

install.packages("akin", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-akin

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
