Hydrological modelling tools developed at INRAE-Antony (HYCAR Research Unit, France). The package includes several conceptual rainfall-runoff models (GR4H, GR5H, GR4J, GR5J, GR6J, GR2M, GR1A) that can be applied either on a lumped or semi-distributed way. A snow accumulation and melt model (CemaNeige) and the associated functions for the calibration and evaluation of models are also included. Use help(airGR) for package description and references.

Bug fixes

CreateRunOptions() no longer displays irrelevant warnings about unused initial states (e.g., CemaNeige or Interception states) when IniStates is not provided by the user. (#204)
CreateRunOptions() now correctly takes into account the IniStates argument when using the RunModel_GR2M() function. (#209)
RunModel_GR2M() now uses the fixed 60 mm capacity of the routing reservoir to calculate its initial state, instead of incorrectly using the groundwater exchange coefficient (X2). This fix only impacts results when no warm-up period is used (i.e., when the simulation starts at the first time step). (#206)
Fixed a crash in the internal .GetOutputsModelGR() function that occurred when WarmUpQsim was explicitly requested in the Outputs_Sim argument of CreateRunOptions(). (#208)

Minor user-visible changes

RunModel_GR2M() warning message for the X2 parameter threshold has been corrected to display the proper parameter name and unit ([-]). (#206)
RunModel_Lag() has been cleaned of experimental code related to leaks on routed flows that was unintentionally included in the previous release. (#207)

Version control and issue tracking

Updated project URLs to reflect the migration from the old IRSTEA GitLab to the new INRAE Forge. (#210)
Added several regression tests for CreateRunOptions() to ensure IniStates handling, correct output lists, and the absence of intempestive warnings. (#209, #204, #208)

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.
