Nonparametric data-driven approach to discovering heterogeneous subgroups in a selection-on-observables framework. 'aggTrees' allows researchers to assess whether there exists relevant heterogeneity in treatment effects by generating a sequence of optimal groupings, one for each level of granularity. For each grouping, we obtain point estimation and inference about the group average treatment effects. Please reference the use as Di Francesco (2022) doi:10.2139/ssrn.4304256.

The 'build_aggtree' function now requires a different set of arguments that allow better control on training-honest sample split.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
