Contains functions to generate pre-defined summary statistics from activPAL events files https://www.palt.com/. The package also contains functions to produce informative graphics that visualise physical activity behaviour and trends. This includes generating graphs that align physical activity behaviour with additional time based observations described by other data sets, such as sleep diaries and continuous glucose monitoring data.

Install

install.packages("activPAL", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-activPAL

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
