Mainly data sets to accompany the VGAM package and the book "Vector Generalized Linear and Additive Models: With an Implementation in R" (Yee, 2015) DOI:10.1007/978-1-4939-2818-7. These are used to illustrate vector generalized linear and additive models (VGLMs/VGAMs), and associated models (Reduced-Rank VGLMs, Quadratic RR-VGLMs, Row-Column Interaction Models, and constrained and unconstrained ordination models in ecology). This package now contains some old VGAM family functions which have been replaced by newer ones (often because they are now special cases).

Install

install.packages("VGAMdata", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

# enable the iucar/cran COPR if it is not already present, then install
ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-VGAMdata

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager

RPMs auto-built from CRAN on openSUSE OBS (Tumbleweed).
