Comprehensive set of tools for analyzing and manipulating functional data with non-uniform lengths. This package addresses two common scenarios in functional data analysis: Variable Domain Data, where the observation domain differs across samples, and Partially Observed Data, where observations are incomplete over the domain of interest. 'VDPO' enhances the flexibility and applicability of functional data analysis in 'R'. See Amaro et al. (2024) doi:10.48550/arXiv.2401.05839, Hernandez-Amaro et al. Changes in 0.2.0

Added support for partially observed functional data. This includes the new functions ffpo() and ffpo_2d() for defining partially observed functional terms in model formulae, po_fit() and po_2d_fit() for fitting the corresponding regression models, and the data generators data_generator_po_1d() and data_generator_po_2d().
po_fit() and po_2d_fit() now return the estimated functional coefficient together with its pointwise confidence intervals.
Added mfpca_vd(), a multivariate functional principal component analysis for variable domain data, together with a plot() method for the estimated eigenfunctions and scores.
Added vignettes for the partially observed models and for the variable domain multivariate functional principal component analysis.

Completed the documentation and added runnable examples for the new functions.
Fixed a bug in plot_ci() where the input object was referenced through the wrong variable, causing the function to error before producing a plot.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
