The main purpose of this package is to propose a rigorous framework to fairly compare trip distribution laws and models as described in Lenormand et al. (2016) doi:10.1016/j.jtrangeo.2015.12.008.

This is a list of changes made between TDLM 1.1.3 (CRAN release 2025-09-03) and

TDLM 1.1.4 (CRAN release 2026-07-22).

Updated vignette.
Modified the method for generating a matrix of integers from the output of the

IPF procedure in DCM. The PCM is now used instead of UM

(https://github.com/RTDLM/TDLM/blob/master/java/TDLM.java#L571).

Added the eps argument to run_law_model() and run_model() allowing to

choose the value used to replace zero values in the marginals of the Doubly

Constrained Model (in order to avoid numerical issues during the IPF procedure).

The value 0.01 was hard-coded in the function before

(https://github.com/RTDLM/TDLM/blob/master/java/TDLM.java#L495).

Corrected an issue with DCM (run_law_model() and run_model()) and the

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
