Allows to easily create high-performance full featured HTTP APIs from R functions. Provides high-level classes such as 'Request', 'Response', 'Application', 'Middleware' in order to streamline server side application development. Out of the box allows to serve requests using 'Rserve' package, but flexible enough to integrate with other HTTP servers such as 'httpuv'.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from rexyai/RestRserve. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-RestRserve

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
