Functions to convert Rd to 'roxygen' documentation. It can parse an Rd file to a list, create the 'roxygen' documentation and update the original R script (e.g. the one containing the definition of the function) accordingly. This package also provides utilities that can help developers build packages using 'roxygen' more easily. The 'formatR' package can be used to reformat the R code in the examples sections so that the code will be more readable.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from yihui/Rd2roxygen. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-Rd2roxygen

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
