The Google 'FarmHash' family of hash functions is used by the Google 'BigQuery' data warehouse via the 'FARM_FINGERPRINT' function. This package permits to calculate these hash digest fingerprints directly from R, and uses the included 'FarmHash' files written by G. Pike and copyrighted by Google, Inc.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from eddelbuettel/rcppfarmhash. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
