The main purpose of this package is to perform simulation-based estimation of stochastic actor-oriented models for longitudinal network data collected as panel data. Dependent variables can be single or multivariate networks, which can be directed, non-directed, or two-mode; and associated actor variables. There are also functions for testing parameters and checking goodness of fit. An overview of these models is given in Snijders (2017), doi:10.1146/annurev-statistics-060116-054035.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from stocnet/rsiena. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-RSiena

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
