Efficient algorithms for generating ensembles of robust, sparse and diverse models via robust multi-model subset selection (RMSS). The robust ensembles are generated by minimizing the sum of the least trimmed square loss of the models in the ensembles under constraints for the size of the models and the sharing of the predictors. Tuning parameters for the robustness, sparsity and diversity of the robust ensemble are selected by cross-validation.

Install

install.packages("RMSS", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-RMSS

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
