Rapid, simulation-based exact (restricted) likelihood ratio tests for testing the presence of variance components/nonparametric terms for models fit with nlme::lme(),lme4::lmer(), lmerTest::lmer(), gamm4::gamm4() and mgcv::gamm().

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from fabian-s/RLRsim. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-RLRsim

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
