General implementation of core function from phase-type theory. 'PhaseTypeR' can be used to model continuous and discrete phase-type distributions, both univariate and multivariate. The package includes functions for outputting the mean and (co)variance of phase-type distributions; their density, probability and quantile functions; functions for random draws; functions for reward-transformation; and functions for plotting the distributions as networks. Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
