A collection of software provides R support for 'ADMB' (Automatic Differentiation Model Builder) and a 'GUI' interface facilitates the conversion of 'ADMB' template code to 'C code' followed by compilation to a binary executable. Stand-alone functions can also be run by users not interested in clicking a 'GUI'.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from pbs-software/pbs-admb. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
