In the case of multivariate ordinal responses, parameter estimates can be severely biased if personal response styles are ignored. This packages provides methods to account for personal response styles and to explain the effects of covariates on the response style, as proposed by Schauberger and Tutz 2021 doi:10.1177/1471082X20978034. The method is implemented both for the multivariate cumulative model and the multivariate adjacent categories model.

Install

install.packages("MultOrdRS", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-MultOrdRS

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
