Contains functions to estimate the proportion of effects stronger than a threshold of scientific importance (function prop_stronger), to nonparametrically characterize the distribution of effects in a meta-analysis (calib_ests, pct_pval), to make effect size conversions (r_to_d, r_to_z, z_to_r, d_to_logRR), to compute and format inference in a meta-analysis (format_CI, format_stat, tau_CI), to scrape results from existing meta-analyses for re-analysis (scrape_meta, parse_CI_string, ci_to_var).

Install

install.packages("MetaUtility", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-MetaUtility

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
