Encodes several methods for performing Mendelian randomization analyses with summarized data. Summarized data on genetic associations with the exposure and with the outcome can be obtained from large consortia. These data can be used for obtaining causal estimates using instrumental variable methods.

Removed extract.pheno.csv command and PhenoScanner example data.

Added conditional likelihood ratio method and other weak instrument robust identification tests (mr_clr) - thanks to Sheng Wang for coding!

Changed default threshold for PCs in mr_pcgmm and mr_mvpcgmm from 0.999 to 0.99.

Added multivariable IVW with measurement error method (mr_mvivwme) - thanks to Andrew Grant and Ville Karhunen for coding!

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
