Estimates average treatment effects at the cutoff based on sharp regression discontinuity designs (RDD) and multiple imputation regression discontinuity designs (MIRDD). It provides diagnostic tools for RDD by comparing results with those from MIRDD, as proposed in Takahashi (2023) doi:10.1080/03610918.2021.1960374. The package includes datasets from Takahashi (2023) and Takahashi (2026) doi:10.1016/j.softx.2026.102707.

Install

install.packages("MIRDD", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-MIRDD

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
