Provides functions to read in and manipulate air quality model output from Models3-formatted files. This format is used by the Community Multiscale Air Quality (CMAQ) model.

Fixes

Map projections now call functions in package sf. Previously, functions from packages rgdal and sp were used, but those are no longer available.

Minor changes

get.canusamex.bds() has been removed. The data produced by that function is now shipped with the package to save computational time.
get.canmex.bds() has been removed. It had previously been superseded by get.canusamex.bds() and was no longer needed.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
