This is the central location for data and tools for the development, maintenance, analysis, and deployment of the International Soil Radiocarbon Database (ISRaD). ISRaD was developed as a collaboration between the U.S. Geological Survey Powell Center and the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry. This R package provides tools for accessing and manipulating ISRaD data, compiling local data using the ISRaD data structure, and simple query and reporting functions for ISRaD. Install

R (CRAN)Ubuntu (r2u)Fedora (COPR)openSUSE (OBS)

install.packages("ISRaD", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-ISRaD

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
