Implementation of Tyler, Critchley, Duembgen and Oja's (JRSS B, 2009, doi:10.1111/j.1467-9868.2009.00706.x) and Oja, Sirkia and Eriksson's (AJS, 2006, https://www.ajs.or.at/index.php/ajs/article/view/vol35,%20no2%263%20-%207) method of two different scatter matrices to obtain an invariant coordinate system or independent components, depending on the underlying assumptions.

commenting out tests that were conditional on a specific version of LAPACK
pointing out in help file of function ICS that the QR algorithm requires LAPACK version >= 3.11.0 to attain better numerical stability

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
