Estimates the parameters of infiltration and water retention models using the curve-fitting methods as shown in Omuto and Gumbe (2009) doi:10.1016/j.cageo.2008.08.011. The models considered are those that are commonly used in soil science. Version 2 of the package has new models for water retention characteristic curves.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-HydroMe

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
