A suite of diagnostic tools for hierarchical (multilevel) linear models. The tools include not only leverage and traditional deletion diagnostics (Cook's distance, covratio, covtrace, and MDFFITS) but also convenience functions and graphics for residual analysis. Models can be fit using either lmer in the 'lme4' package or lme in the 'nlme' package.

Changes in 0.5.1

Added a NEWS.md file to track changes to the package.
cooks.distance() and mdffits() with include.attr = TRUE now returns a tibble with column names for the fixed effects in agreement with the fixef() output.
First columns of hlm_resid() output is now .id to avoid conflicts with id columns

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
