Data package to disseminate the 'GermaParl' corpus of parliamentary debates of the German Bundestag prepared in the 'PolMine Project'. The package includes a small subset of the corpus for demonstration and testing purposes. The package includes functionality to download the full corpus and supplementary data from the open science repository 'Zenodo'.

Changes in 1.5.2

The germaparl_download_lda() will check md5 sums now when downloading data.
If downloading an LDA model using germaparl_download_lda() fails, you will now see an informative message and the return value will be FALSE.

This package is no longer on CRAN, so install.packages() cannot fetch it by name. This downloads the last archived source (1.5.2) and builds it locally. Install its dependencies first, and note that building from source needs the usual compiler toolchain.
