Classical (bottom-up and top-down), optimal combination and heuristic point (Di Fonzo and Girolimetto, 2023 doi:10.1016/j.ijforecast.2021.08.004) and probabilistic (Girolimetto et al. 2024 doi:10.1016/j.ijforecast.2023.10.003) forecast reconciliation procedures for linearly constrained time series (e.g., hierarchical or grouped time series) in cross-sectional, temporal, or cross-temporal frameworks.

Changes in 1.3.1

User-facing functions now validate their arguments more strictly and fail with informative error messages that state the expected value and report the one actually supplied, replacing the previous generic diagnostics.
Replaced any(is.na()) with anyNA().
Internal helpers, S3 methods underlying the generics (e.g. the cscov(), tecov() and ctcov() methods) and the soft-deprecated res2matrix() are no longer listed in help(package = "FoReco"), so the help index now exposes only the user-facing functions.
Fixed the single-column name produced by as.data.frame() on a foreco object, which now uses the name of the object supplied by the user.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.
