A collection of widely used univariate data sets of various applied domains on applications of distribution theory. The functions allow researchers and practitioners to quickly, easily, and efficiently access and use these data sets. The data are related to different applied domains and as follows: Bio-medical, survival analysis, medicine, reliability analysis, hydrology, actuarial science, operational research, meteorology, extreme values, quality control, engineering, finance, sports and economics. The total 100 data sets are documented along with associated references for further details and uses.

Install

install.packages("DataSetsUni", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

# enable the iucar/cran COPR if it is not already present, then install
ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-DataSetsUni

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
