Set of 'shiny'-based 'RStudio' add-ins for interactively creating datasets through graphical interfaces. Users can adjust graphical elements to define data generation parameters, and the resulting datasets can be saved to temporary RDS files for further analysis or visualization. Methods are described in: Chang et al. (2024) https://CRAN.R-project.org/package=shiny; Bostock et al. (2011) doi:10.1109/TVCG.2011.185.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from CarlosRivera1212/DataCraftR. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
