Utility functions used for the R package development infrastructure inside the data integration centers ('DIZ') to standardize and facilitate repetitive tasks such as setting up a database connection or issuing notification messages and to avoid redundancy.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from miracum/misc-dizutils. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-DIZutils

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
