Implementation of cross-validation method for testing the forecasting accuracy of several multi-population mortality models. The family of multi-population includes several multi-population mortality models proposed through the actuarial and demography literature. The package includes functions for fitting and forecast the mortality rates of several populations. Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
