Computes genomic breeding values using external information on the markers. The package fits a linear mixed model with heteroscedastic random effects, where the random effect variance is fitted using a linear predictor and a log link. The method is described in Mouresan, Selle and Ronnegard (2019) doi:10.1101/636746.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-CodataGS

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
