Simulating and estimating peer effect models and network formation models. The class of peer effect models includes linear-in-means models (Lee, 2004; doi:10.1111/j.1468-0262.2004.00558.x), Tobit models (Xu and Lee, 2015; doi:10.1016/j.jeconom.2015.05.004), and discrete numerical data models (Houndetoungan, 2025; doi:10.48550/arXiv.2405.17290). The network formation models include pair-wise regressions with degree heterogeneity (Graham, 2017; doi:10.3982/ECTA12679) and exponential random graph models (Mele, 2017; doi:10.3982/ECTA10400).

Changes in 2.2.2

In homophili.fe, elements in the estimate and gradient vectors are now labelled.
The summary method for cdnet and sart no longer displays marginal effects.
The meffects method has been added and can be applied to the outputs of cdnet and sart. This method computes direct, indirect, and total marginal effects.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
