A simple runner for fuzz-testing functions in an R package's public interface. Fuzz testing helps identify functions lacking sufficient argument validation, and uncovers problematic inputs that, while valid by function signature, may cause issues within the function body.

Changes in 0.7.0

New features

Add the "time" class of inputs to test_inputs().
Add the group argument to print() to control how the results should be grouped when printing: either by "input" (default) or by "function" (#10).
Add support for show = "none" in print() to output only the summary statistics (#13).

Updates

Add more inputs in test_inputs(), bringing the total number of inputs from 70 to 85.
Use the full terminal size to display the progress report, so that the list of arguments currently tested is shown as much as possible (#11).
Fix a crash in the strange case when conditionMessage() produces more than one error message (#12).

Show all changes in 0.7.0Hide the rest of the changes in 0.7.0

Return multiple warnings as a concatenated string, instead of returning only the last one (#14).

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
