Provides significance tests for second-order stationarity for time series using bootstrap wavelet packet tests. Provides functionality to visualize the time series with the results of the hypothesis tests superimposed. The methodology is described in Cardinali, A and Nason, G P (2016) "Practical powerful wavelet packet tests for second-order stationarity." Applied and Computational Harmonic Analysis, 44, 558-585 doi:10.1016/j.acha.2016.06.006.

Install

install.packages("BootWPTOS", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-BootWPTOS

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
