Runs hierarchical linear Bayesian models. Samples from the posterior distributions of model parameters in JAGS (Just Another Gibbs Sampler; Plummer, 2017, http://mcmc-jags.sourceforge.net). Computes Bayes factors for group parameters of interest with the Savage-Dickey density ratio (Wetzels, Raaijmakers, Jakab, Wagenmakers, 2009, doi:10.3758/PBR.16.4.752).

Install

install.packages("BayesRS", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-BayesRS

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
