Functions for Accurate and Speedy linkage map construction, manipulation and diagnosis of Doubled Haploid, Backcross and Recombinant Inbred 'R/qtl' objects. This includes extremely fast linkage map clustering and optimal marker ordering using 'MSTmap' (see Wu et al.,2008).

This release restores ASMap to CRAN following the archiving of version 1.0-8. There are no user visible changes to the functionality of the package.

BUG FIXES

The package vignette used the tabu LaTeX package, which is no longer maintained and is incompatible with current versions of the array package. Re-building the vignette therefore failed with an "Undefined control sequence" error, which led to the archiving of version 1.0-8 on CRAN. The vignette now uses tabularx from the standard LaTeX tools bundle, which provides the same functionality.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
