An R-package-version of an open online science-based personality test from <https://openpsychometrics.org/tests/IPIP-BFFM/>, providing a better-designed interface and a more detailed report. The core command launch_test() opens a personality test in your browser, and generates a report after you click "Submit". In this report, your results are compared with other people's, to show what these results mean. Other people's data is from <https://openpsychometrics.org/_rawdata/BIG5.zip>.

Install

install.packages("personr")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

pak::pak("flujoo/personr")

Development version from flujoo/personr. Requires the pak package.

Release

# one-time r2u setup for Ubuntu (noble)

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/eddelbuettel/r2u/master/inst/scripts/add_cranapt_noble.sh | sudo bash

# then install

sudo apt install r-cran-personr

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). Run the setup once per machine.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf copr enable iucar/cran

sudo dnf install R-CRAN-personr

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

sudo zypper install R-personr

RPMs auto-built from CRAN on openSUSE OBS.
