Anomaly detection in dynamic, temporal networks. The package 'oddnet' uses a feature-based method to identify anomalies. First, it computes many features for each network. Then it models the features using time series methods. Using time series residuals it detects anomalies. This way, the temporal dependencies are accounted for when identifying anomalies (Kandanaarachchi, Hyndman 2022) <arXiv:2210.07407>.

Install

install.packages("oddnet")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

# one-time r2u setup for Ubuntu (noble)

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/eddelbuettel/r2u/master/inst/scripts/add_cranapt_noble.sh | sudo bash

# then install

sudo apt install r-cran-oddnet

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). Run the setup once per machine.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf copr enable iucar/cran

sudo dnf install R-CRAN-oddnet

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

sudo zypper install R-oddnet

RPMs auto-built from CRAN on openSUSE OBS.
