In applications it is usual that some additional information is available. This package dawai (an acronym for Discriminant Analysis With Additional Information) performs linear and quadratic discriminant analysis with additional information expressed as inequality restrictions among the populations means. It also computes several estimations of the true error rate.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-dawai

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
