Examine any number of time series data frames to identify instances in which various criteria are met within specified time frames. In clinical medicine, these types of events are often called "constellations of signs and symptoms", because a single condition depends on a series of events occurring within a certain amount of time of each other. This package was written to work with any number of time series data frames and is optimized for speed to work well with data frames with millions of rows.

Install

install.packages("constellation")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

pak::pak("marksendak/constellation")

Development version from marksendak/constellation. Requires the pak package.

Release

# one-time r2u setup for Ubuntu (noble)

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/eddelbuettel/r2u/master/inst/scripts/add_cranapt_noble.sh | sudo bash

# then install

sudo apt install r-cran-constellation

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). Run the setup once per machine.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf copr enable iucar/cran

sudo dnf install R-CRAN-constellation

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

sudo zypper install R-constellation

RPMs auto-built from CRAN on openSUSE OBS.
