Another implementation of object-orientation in R. It provides syntactic sugar for the S4 class system and two alternative new implementations. One is an experimental version built around S4 and the other one makes it more convenient to work with lists as objects.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-aoos

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
