Provides statistical tools to analyze heterogeneous effects of rare variants within genes that are associated with multiple traits. The package implements methods for assessing pleiotropic effects and identifying allelic heterogeneity, which can be useful in large-scale genetic studies. Methods include likelihood-based statistical tests to assess these effects. For more details, see Lu et al. (2024) <doi:10.1101/2024.10.01.614806>.

Install

install.packages("ALLSPICER")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

# one-time r2u setup for Ubuntu (noble)

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/eddelbuettel/r2u/master/inst/scripts/add_cranapt_noble.sh | sudo bash

# then install

sudo apt install r-cran-allspicer

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). Run the setup once per machine.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf copr enable iucar/cran

sudo dnf install R-CRAN-ALLSPICER

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

sudo zypper install R-ALLSPICER

RPMs auto-built from CRAN on openSUSE OBS.
